All about Taige Crenshaw

Taige Crenshaw

I've been enthralled with the written word from time I picked up my first book.
I'm actually a little shy {with a smile} but no one seems to believe me. LOL. My novels are my way of talking to the world. I've been making up my own stories, poetry and fairytales since I was a child. I used to gather my family in the living room and tell my stories. They would clap and say they were wonderful. LOL.

Now I bring my stories to the world audience. I write in a variety of genres. My stories are intricate and I like to put my spin on things. LOL. Meaning I don't do the typical so expect a twist to come and when it does I hope it makes the reader go hmm... or wow. I like to surprise and give readers something to think about.

Also I have to write it's just something I must do. I get cranky if I don't. Also I have an opinionated muse named Mikayla who well… It's not pretty I shudder to even think about it.

How Taige got into Erotic Romance

From the time I wrote my first book I wrote compelling characters, plot and really hot sex. It just flowed and came out that way. I had no idea there was an e-book world out there. When I did and saw what an opportunity it was to get my sexy stories out there I gave it shot. And I haven't looked back since. I like to combine all the elements. My writing can range from sensual to all out erotic.

The Scoop!

Working on: I'm working on several books for my Club Immortality series and books for various other publishers.

News - In 2008 I will be attending the RT Convention. Also I am part of the 2008 faery court. The Faery Ball will be on April 17, 2008 and the theme this year is Under the Sea. This is my first RT and I am excited. I also wrote a Modern Day spin on a fairytale. My story is called Rendezvous with Fate, A tale of what happened after little bear found Goldilocks. You can read the fairytale here

I'm one of the authors spotlighted in the December 2007 Romantic Times as a member of the 2008 Faery Court for the RT Convention in Pittsburgh.

What Taige likes to read...

INTERVIEW

The Sensible Questions:

1. What made you start writing erotic romance?
From my first book I knew that was what I would write.
2. What inspired you to write your first book?
I've been a writer since I was a child. When I was in college I enjoyed writing the stories where my imagination could explore. Although I was an avid reader I never thought of writing a book. It wasn't until after college that I decided to give writing a book a try. I burnt many a late night hours writing my first book

After reading so many and loving to write, I decided I could write romance, too.

However, I didn't start my first full-length romance novel until I was in college and had one weekend with nothing to do. That's pretty unbelievable as I studied constantly - hubby thought I was anal and was jealous that I had almost straight A's. So I finally put pen to paper and out came a really horrible book. But it was the start.

3. What's your process for writing a book?
Usually I come up with the idea. Just something that pops into my head then I pick a title After the title I let it fill my mind for a while. Then after sometime I sit down and write the story. If ideas come to me I'll write them down in an idea file.
4. What do you enjoy about writing?
The rush of writing a story. Building the world, plot and then characters.
5. What really p's you off about writing?
Phone calls when I am writing. LOL. My family and friends know that when I am writing not to call me. And if they do they quickly say bye and leave me in peace. I've been told I am less than polite when interrupted.
LOL.
6. Who would you count as your biggest supporters?
My family and friends. My mom who passed away was my biggest. I know she is looking down at me from above and smiling.
7. How do you celebrate when you finish a book?
First I have this special dance I do. I can't say anything else because I don't want to incriminate myself. LOL.
8. Describe your writing space.
A desk and file cabinets. A bookcase overflowing with books. Many, many books.

Horsemen of Apocalypse Island: Sin

Horsemen of Apocalypse Island: Sin

Book one in the Horsemen of Apocalypse Island

Imagine a world where divine sexual beings roamed the earth with only one pursuit in mind: to satisfy each and every human woman they come across.

At the beginning of creation these beautiful beasts used sex to enslave mankind, taking their fill and leaving legions of satisfied women in their wake. Until the wise men of the time devised a curse to rid the world of these lovely abominations-”sending the fallen deities into the heart of a Cyprus tree for all eternity.

Alas, curses are made to be broken, and eternity is but a blink of an eye for an immortal entity. When the tree that imprisoned these glorious gods crashed down, they resumed their physical forms-forms, it had long been rumoured, which included phalluses rivalling the size of great stallions.

Imagine being rich but unhappy Alana Dorchester and finding one of these legendary lovers in your attic.

What would you do?

This book was previously published elsewhere, under a different name. It has been extensively re-written & re-edited for release with Total-e-Bound
