Who is Jade?
Jade Buchanan was born in the summer of 2006, out of a slightly shy but definitely warped mind. Jade’s alter-ego spends her days working in the world of safety management consulting, but at night she lets Jade out to play. Preferring to live in the world of fiction in which she was born, Jade can be found wandering through fields of words whenever she can.

Now if only she can find her dream man – a time-traveling Scottish laird who was born a werewolf that became a vampire and lived on a pirate ship, only to make his way to the new world and work on a ranch in Montana (with a brief foray in the Navy SEALS), before conquering the space time continuum and becoming a space marauding pirate and ruling the galaxy – she’d be a very happy lady.

What is Jade doing at the moment?

I’ve been a very busy bee lately, and I couldn’t be happier about it! Between writing my next book in my Felidae series at Changeling Press and plotting out another werewolf tale for Samhain Publishing, I’m trying to squeeze in a little ménage with a great friend for our new book coming soon from Aspen Mountain Press. I’ve also been spending time with cowboys, dragons and aliens and have thought up more sex scenes than I know what to do with! My life is never boring!

When I’m not writing, I end up juggling my day job as a Safety Management Consultant with grad school where I’m working towards my Masters in Occupational Health and Safety. In my spare time I handcraft jewellery, and my friends and family are used to getting presents whenever I feel creative. Unfortunately, my house is a mess, but I can’t seem to get too bothered about that!
