Who is Ashley?
Ashley Ladd lives in South Florida with her husband, five children, and beloved pets. She loves the water, animals (especially cats), and playing on the computer.

She's been told she has a wicked sense of humour and often incorporates humour and adventure into her books. She also adores very spicy romance, which she weaves into her stories.

What is Ashley doing at the moment?

Obviously, I’m excited to be writing for a new and adventurous publisher. What’s life without adventure? Just ask Captain Jack Sparrow – or me. J
I’m currently in the midst of edits of a sequel to my vampire romantica “Blessed Be” for Ellora’s Cave. This one is entitled “Truth, Justice, and the Vampire Way”. Readers have been clamouring for Genevieve’s story, thus, it is coming very soon. As always, I’m penning new novels – of course romances and romanticas. I’m editing some older ones and am in the middle of a new one. Just call me ADHD woman, the original multi-tasker. People who know me will find me hanging out at my local Borders and Barnes & Nobles with my laptop and even my pen and steno pad. (Lap top problems) :(

And why am I always spinning new yarns? Because I’m in love with romance and in love with stories and story telling. I’m absolutely enthralled with romantic swashbucklers like Captain Jack Sparrow and Will Turner in the Pirates trilogy, Rick O’Connell in The Mummy, and Indiana Jones. Nor would I turn Johnny Castle (Dirty Dancing) away, either.
