Lady Riana Ellis will risk the fires of Hell for those she loves. Can she let a man do the same for her?

As whore for the Duchess of Arundel, Lady Riana Ellis keeps her sister safe from the duke’s lascivious desires. But the duchess now demands that Riana murder the man already sent to her bed.

But the wrong knight arrives.

Time is running out. Riana has set into motion the downfall of the duke and duchess. If she and her sister don’t escape, they’ll be crushed when Arundel falls. To ensure her sister’s freedom, Riana must give the performance of her life and fool the man in her bed...and the woman watching them.

Sir Bryant Cullen determines to have the duchess’ whore. Her land is a prize, but it’s her secrets he wants. Once he knows what she knows, he will control one of the most powerful houses in Scotland. And she will be his.

this story is gripping, fast paced and well written with some smoldering scenes between the two lead characters and I didn’t want to put it down...It’s a strong tale with people who have flaws but find love and is a story I will definitely be reading again.

I love historical romance and Tarah Scott’s A Knight of Passion just jumped its way to the top of my favorite list. How could it not when the opening scene has the former lady now whore seducing a devilishly gorgeous knight to save her sister? Filled with fast action, Tarah Scott hits every necessary historical romance note with a castle, a dungeon, a duel, and a knight any lady would lift her skirts for...an erotically delightful read that has this reviewer searching for more books by Tarah Scott.

Lady Riana is a Heroine in Every Sense of the Word
Reviewed by Natasha Blackthorne

A Knight of Passion is one of those stories that just sweeps you away from the start.

I fell in love with the hero and heroine and cheered them on every step of the way.

Lady Riana Ellis is a heroine in every sense of the word. She gives up her very soul to save the lives of those she loves. She has also given up all hope in happiness or safety for herself in this earthly life. Then she meets the man who has the power to change everything, Sir Bryant Cullen. Immediately, he senses Riana’s character. He knows despite the fact that she must play at being a whore for the Duchess of Arundel’s pleasure, this is a true lady whose every move is fired by determination, courage and loyalty. He knows she is a rose beyond compare and he vows to possess her completely and protect her forever.

But Riana has a problem trusting that anyone could give so completely of themselves to her without some other more sinister motive. The conflict between the couple centers around learning to trust each other. Even as they struggle to overcome their own conflicts, their enemies are closing in on them. They must pull together and fight as a team or risk losing everything.

This story is full of romance and high adventure while also being extremely erotic. It has a deep feeling of being really back there in the days of knights and their damsels, when honor meant everything. Scott’s prose is beautiful and easy to read. I LOVED this story!

Real, Raw, and Absolutely Sensational!

It is no secret that I love Tarah Scott’s work, but I must say that A Knight of Passion is my favorite title. Set against the Scottish Highlands in 1338, Tarah nailed the time period perfectly. I felt like I was in Scottland experiencing the thrill of plots, deceit, and lies within the court of the Duke and Duchess of Arundel. Riana, although a whore, is such a well-rounded character. After reading this novel, I know Riana’s strengths, her weaknesses, and the lengths she will go to in order to save herself and those she loves. I admire her fire, her passion. The sex was incredible in this novel. Tarah spares no detail when describing the lovemaking but always keeps it classy. Raw and real, but never offensive. A Knight of Passion has become a favorite that will stay in my TBRR (To Be Re-Read) stack!
