Introduction
Total-E-Bound Publishing is a royalty paying, full-service ePublisher. This means that we do not charge fees for the author at any time.
We pay a royalty rate of 40% of the RRP for eBooks, 30% for audio, and 10% for print, based on our standard two year contract. Our contracts are for both electronic and print rights.

Lust Bites

These are our short stories between 10-15,000 words. They may have a theme or they may be stand alone short stories depending on what we have running, but all will come under the banner of ‘Lust Bites’. These short stories must meet our regular guidelines:

Sexy Snax
Novellas
These are our branded novellas between 15,000 - 30,000 words. They may have a theme or they may be stand alone short stories depending on what we have running, but all will come under the banner of ‘Sexy Snax’, although each story will have its own cover. No series books will be considered for the Sexy Snax line. These novellas must meet our regular guidelines:
- 15,000-30,000 word count per story
- Any genre
- Very erotic – the hotter the better (burning/melting)
Anthologies
Released throughout the year - each with a distinctive theme.
We will produce a series of anthologies each year, with between five and eight short stories in each.
Royalties are 40% of RRP for eBooks, 30% for audio, and 10% for print, to be divided equally and fairly between the authors of the anthology. Every story in an anthology also gets released as a single story in eBook and Audio book further into the contractual term.

Switch - Bondage/BDSM Anthology
Guidelines:

- We’d like to see some playful takes on the word “switch”, whether it’s in the sense of spanking/caning or D/s role reversal—or both! Either way it’s all about flexibility!

- Playing ‘doctors and nurses’ has never been more fun. We’d like to see doctors, nurses, surgeons and paramedics healing bodies and hearts for this anthology of all-male medical-themed erotic romance stories.
- We’d like to see MM or all-male ménage stories, please.

- We’d like to see some hot historicals, exploring any period of the past as long as it has a sultry summer setting. Regency rakes, knights in shining armour, Victorian gents, raunchy Romans...as long as it’s hot in both senses of the word. We’re looking for 4 stories between 15,000 and 20,000 words.

Free Stories Submissions
All Total-E-Bound authors who would like to showcase their work and allow our readers to try out their stories can post them with us. We’ll edit the manuscript for you, and our readers can read it for FREE.

Manuscript Requirements
What we look for in submitted manuscripts.
- We look for creative storytelling and original style.
- We want you to weave tales of erotic romance through creating strong, dynamic and intelligent characters that your readers will remember.
- Plot driven erotic romances that illustrate the relationship between key characters, ideally with a happy ending, but if not it should be promising.
- We want varying degrees of sex throughout the story, with lots of opportunity for erotic exploration, interwoven with levels of tension and passion (take a look at our book rating info)
- We want meaningful and expressive language that is explicit, but suitable for the storyline.
- We want writers who have a unique and new approach and a writing style that sets them apart from the rest. You must have a true talent for storytelling with an erotic slant.
- We accept gay, lesbian, bisexual and heterosexual stories.
What we ask for in submitted manuscripts.
We only accept electronic communication. So, it's essential that you send your script to us in e-format. We will only accept the following:
- Detailed synopsis of your book
- First 3 chapters and end chapter (short stories, please send in the whole manuscript)
- Send in 1 inch margins, 1.5 lines spacing, standard 12 pt font. Book Antiqua preferred.
- Generally we accept any size of story from 10,000 to 125,000 words (see our book length info)
- Books will be published only if author owns all rights
- Include your name, pen-name and contact e-mail in the Query Letter and Synopsis
- Send the submissions package to

Publishing Rights
Your submission must have full rights available, including both digital and print. If not, please don’t send it to us.
What's not acceptable
We're pretty open when it comes to creativity (we certainly don't want to stifle it), and will look at most story lines, but…we do have our limits!
- NO paedophilia. Don't even dare go there!
- NO rape as titillation. We accept that it may sometimes be used as part of a plotline, especially supporting character development, but definitely not for the use of getting your rocks off!
- NO bodily functions - i.e. watersports, toilet play - eeeew!
- NO necrophilia. The dead definitely don't do it for us - of course, we don't count the bloodsucking undead variety!
- NO bestiality. This does not apply to shape-shifters and might not apply to certain breeds from a sci-fi perspective.

Heat Ratings
Our heat ratings tell you how hot you will find the story:
- Total-e-sizzling - Sexy, explicit and highly imaginative, with a sensual side.
- Total-e-burning - Explicit, highly imaginative and hot, where almost anything goes. These titles are very uninhibited in both sexual dialect and descriptiveness.
- Total-e-melting - These are our XXX stories. They differ from the others only in the content of the plotlines, as they tend to be much more risqué and explicit. These babies are burning hot. Some readers will find them objectionable, so definitely not for the faint hearted!
- Total-e-taboo - the taboo line breaks into pure, unadulterated erotica or covers the subjects that could be seen as extreme or offensive, pushing stories to the limits of what some deem acceptable. These books don’t necessarily have to have a ‘happy every after’.
Sexometer Ratings
Our sexometer tells you how much sex is in a book.
- 1 - These books are a slower burn, with lots of sexual tension leading upto an explosive culmination.
- 2 - These books have a pulse pounding balance of erotic tension and sexy scenes. More than Risqué and less than relentless!
- 3 - Non-stop sensual and sexual interaction throughout the book.
